A historical document, an unanswered question, or an intriguing observation can open new possibilities for investigation and interpretation.

Mozaic-Arts supports independent and collaborative research across disciplines, bringing together different perspectives, methods, and technologies to explore ideas and share discoveries.

Some investigations unfold into serialized publishing over years, while others develop into publications or conference presentations.

Our ongoing series include historical investigations, serialized writing, archival explorations, and contributions from independent researchers, artists, and writers.

These projects bring together different approaches to inquiry and interpretation, offering a record of work already accomplished as well as starting points for new conversations and discoveries.

Historical documents, photographs, correspondence, objects, and place-based collections offer opportunities for exploration, interpretation, and new discoveries.
